EXERCISE 4

When Jules Verne wrote ‘From the Earth to the Moon’ in 1865, it hardly seemed possible that one day man might actually go to the moon. In 1969, the first astronauts to land on the moon went for a ‘spacewalk’ and placed their flag there for all to see. Pictures of this historical event were shown back on Earth. Since then, there have been several other journeys onto space and scientists have been increasing their knowledge and developing new technology all the time.
