EXERCISE 1

EXERCISE 5

The legend of Robin Hood is famous throughout the world. Robin Hood remains a hero because of his kindness, generosity and bravery. He was always trying to steal money from the rich and give it to the poor — a philanthropist! Of course, he had many adventures, overcame countless dangers and made enemies as well as friends. Women loved him because he was tall, dark and handsome. Men loved him, too, because he always helped his friends and protected them from danger. One of his best friends was a very big, fat, bald man called ‘Friar Tuck’ but the love of Robin Hood’s life was Maid Marion. She was beautiful, slim and dark. Together, these heroes fought against the evil King John, a mean, greedy man, who was always trying to make the people pay him more money in taxes.
