3. Put (a call through): nối máy
Ex: I’ll put you through.
4. Get through: nối máy được với ai đó
Ex: I can’t get through his line at the moment.
5. Hang up: ngắt máy
Ex: My mon got angry at me, so I hung up.
6. Call up: Gọi điện cho ai (tiếng lóng)
Ex: My teacher called me up to inform me my scholarship.
7. Call back: gọi lại
Ex: When he gets home, I’ll tell him to call you back.
8. Pick up: nhấc máy
Ex: I called her many times but there was no none picking up.
9. Get off (the phone): cúp máy
Ex: I just got off the phone with my boyfriend.
10. Get back to (someone): gọi lại

11. Cut off: cúp máy đột ngột

12. switch/turn off: Ngừng hoạt động
